This Bordeaux Supérieur from Château Castenet comes from 20-year-old vines grown on a clay-limestone soil. It has a beautiful purple color and a powerful nose with aromas of black fruit. It is full-bodied with soft, ripe tannins and a beautiful finish. Serve at room temperature (18°C) with red meat or game, or with characterful cheeses.
This is a wine to share with family or friends during an elaborate meal.
